STS’s strength lies in the production of carbide tools, particularly small-diameter end mills and drills, and our specialties are “small diameter”, “special orders”, and “mass production”.
There are very few companies like us who are able to offer custom-made products from small batches to mass production in units of 1,000 with cost competitiveness.
All of our products are made with reliable domestic and overseas machine tools. Here are some examples of our equipment and technology.
Providing small and miniature diameter tools
STS offers a variety of tools, including end mills, drills, and reamers, and we are particularly good at producing small-diameter tools with cutting edge diameters of 6 mm or less.
Furthermore, through the introduction of state-of-the-art equipment, we are developing tools with a cutting edge diameter of 1 mm or less and tools with a minimum diameter of 0.03 mm, and we are pursuing a margin of error of 1/1000 mm on a daily basis.
Special orders
One of the strengths of STS is our ability to develop and manufacture custom-made products tailored to the needs and challenges of individual customers, thereby providing solutions for these challenges.
Few companies are able to tailor/mass produce custom-made tools. Thanks to the know-how and manufacturing system we have cultivated over many years, we are able to do so at low prices, in small batches, and within short delivery times.
In various fields, such as semiconductors, electronic components, and medical devices, technological development in microfabrication is progressing steadily.

At STS, able to mass-produce and stably supply small and miniature diameters tools by rich know-how cultivated through our own research and development and production technologies.

We can also correct the diameter of your end mills. Please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns such as existing diameters not being a good fit.
Applying chamfering cutters and rounding
Even if an end mill has already been machined, it is possible to change the tip shape. We will change the tips of your end mills into chamfering cutters, radius end mills, ball end mills, or even taper end mills.
